Our farm opened in 2019 with two new apartments, and another apartment was added in 2024. Come and experience an unforgettable vacation with us as a couple, friends, or family. We look forward to many exciting and relaxing moments with you!

Our best vacations

Anyone who has vacationed with the Innerhofer family at the Untermathon farm will always come back! We were there for the second time and have already booked again for this fall and next summer! In addition to the beautiful farm, the great animals, and the new barn for the cows, the family is just incredibly warm, Christine's breakfast is prepared with love, and they have great children with whom our son played every day. The surroundings of Vöran are also beautiful with many leisure activities for the whole family! We look forward to many more vacations with the Innerhofer family and all their small and large housemates!!

Great apartment in a quiet location

We were at the Untermathon farm at the end of December 2024 to spend a few days with the family. The "Omi" apartment was very new and furnished with great attention to detail and had everything we needed. The farm is a bit away from the small village of Vöran, which was exactly right for us. The host family was very, very friendly and always had time when we had questions. We were very happy to take advantage of the bread roll service, which worked very easily and smoothly. All in all, we had a great short vacation on a very beautiful farm with a great apartment and very nice hosts. We would love to come back! Family Mayer

Vacation on the farm with a toddler

We had a few very nice days at the Untermathon Hof. The farm family with farmer Daniel and farmer Christine were extremely nice and accommodating. They showed us the cowshed and gave us an insight into farm life. Our apartment was really great. It was new and well maintained and we didn't miss anything. A crib and high chair were provided for our little daughter. We ate eggs and milk fresh from the farm for breakfast. Bread rolls were hung on our front door in the morning. A day couldn't start more relaxed. We will definitely come back.

Don’t miss the natural open-air cinema with its 30 wooden cinema chairs on the Rotstein Knott!

Merano Spa Town

The spa town of Merano is just a short drive away and combines alpine scenery with Mediterranean flair. Palm trees, promenades and historic buildings characterize the townscape. Cafés, boutiques and markets invite you to stroll around, while the Therme Meran offers relaxation at the highest level.

Trauttmansdorff Castle

The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are among the most beautiful gardens in Europe. Exotic plants, themed gardens, and spectacular viewpoints extend over 12 hectares. The view over Merano and the Adige Valley is unique.

The Stoanernen Mandln

The legendary “Stoanernen Mandln” are located on a high plateau with panoramic views – mysterious stone figures that have defied wind and weather for centuries. The path to get there is a rewarding hike with far-reaching views over South Tyrol.

Farmer Christine lovingly prepares a hearty breakfast with farm-fresh products for you.
Let us know what time you would like to have breakfast, and we will bring the finished breakfast to your apartment (between 8:00 and 10:00 am). You can start the day in peace, healthily and full of energy with your loved ones.

The Untermathon Hof & its hosts

The Untermathon Hof has been owned by the Innerhofer family since 1828. Farmer Daniel and his wife Christine lovingly manage the farm. In 2014 we resumed dairy farming and our first daughter, Mona, was born in July. Hannah saw the light of day in June 2016 and Samuel in June 2018.

We are happy to bring you closer to everyday life on a South Tyrolean mountain farm. We are happy to share our passion for agriculture and our knowledge with you and warmly welcome you!
