Hiking tip in summer
Stoanerne Mandln (Stone Men)
At this magical place of power above Vöran and Hafling, over 100 mysterious stone figures pile up – they have been standing here on the high Reisch for at least 500 years – framed by a magnificent 360-degree mountain backdrop.
The Stoanernen Mandln are a uniquely beautiful excursion destination that can be reached from Vöran (starting point car park above Gasthof Grüner Baum) in a three-hour mountain tour.
Tip: Sunrise hike to the Stoanernen Mandln
The tourist association organizes this mountain tour regularly. Accompanied by an experienced mountain guide, the shuttle bus (from Vöran) takes over the first few meters in altitude. The tour is crowned by a breathtaking sunrise on the mountain and a delicious breakfast on the alpine pasture.

Nordic Walking
Popular meeting points for Nordic walkers are the paths of the extensive forest and pasture areas in Hafling, Vöran and Meran 2000. The hiking paradise above Meran offers numerous walking routes with varying degrees of difficulty, including seven signposted panorama walking routes.
Winter
The Meran 2000 ski area is only a 15-minute drive from us. In addition to skiing, it’s a great place for hiking, either on the winter hiking trails or with snowshoes. Our meadows around the farm have some slopes where you can go tobogganing. Also, building a snowman or having an extensive snowball fight with Mom and Dad should not be missed!
Immerse yourself in farm life
We are a dairy farm with livestock farming. We have cows, young cattle and calves, as well as sheep, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and pigs. We start our daily work in the barn at 4:30 a.m., as farmer Daniel has to bring the fresh milk to the village center by 6:30 a.m., where the tanker of the Meraner Milchhof comes to load the fresh milk.
In the evening you have the opportunity to visit us in the barn and experience the daily work on a farm. You are welcome to help feed the animals and enjoy the freshly milked milk.
